Concrete coring and compression test of specimens

Concrete samples are taken by continuous core drilling in the structural elements under investigation such as walls, pillars, beams or foundations, using a core drilling machine equipped with a thin-walled diamond crown. Each sample is identified, noting the specific sampling point and any visible irregularity. The specimens are then subjected to compression tests in a state-authorized laboratory to determine their compressive strength.
